Welcome back seekers of beautiful smiles!

As the summer approaches its end, were still trying to take in the last few days of this beautiful sunny weather, and nothing better than a pretty smile to wear every day!

We left off last with why a smile mockup or temporary veneers are important before the final placement of permanent ceramic veneers or bonding. The smile mockup allows you to visualize what your smile will look like with the work done and make any changes then.

The next time we see you at the dental office, it would be time to take off the temporary veneers and try on the permanent ones before gluing them on. This is a fun step towards getting your awesome smile! We rarely need to numb the teeth up for that because preparing teeth to receive ceramic veneers is very minimal.

Next, we pick the glue shade that best matches what your desire is for your new smile. If you want a naturally looking brighter smile, or a very “white” new smile or even a toned down pretty smile. The glue or cement shades are provided in a variety to choose what tone best suits your desires and complexion. We then permanently cement the veneers over the teeth in a very meticulous process to make sure they are well isolated, and the field is completely clean, and the fit is precise and accurate. Any mistakes or shortcomings may lead to loss of the veneer or even tooth decay and gum disease.

Once we’re satisfied with the fit, and you’re in love with your new smile, the next step is to enjoy it!

At our Burlington office, we understand the impact a new smile has on our social lives, personal lives and even work prospects and confidence. That is why we care about each and every step along the way, because it can change lives.
