Conventional Braces

There are many different options to choose from when it comes to braces, whether how they are applied or what they are made from. At our Burlington dental office, we listen to what your needs and goals are and discuss all the types of braces and how they are applied so you could make a good choice.

There are many different options to choose from when it comes to braces, whether how they are applied or what they are made from. At our Burlington dental office, we listen to what your needs and goals are and discuss all the types of braces and how they are applied so you could make a good choice.

Your braces journey will consist of two main visits:

Visit 1: Our Burlington orthodontic dentist examines your teeth, customizes your treatment plan based on your goals and needs, and takes photos and models of what your teeth look like. You get to choose between metal and gold braces.

Visit 2: The dentist will place your braces, review your oral hygiene instructions, and provide you with a full kit to help maintain healthy teeth and gums during the process.

Follow up visits will then be scheduled every 4-8 weeks to readjust the wires until your orthodontic journey is completed. Once the braces are removed, permanent retainers are placed to hold the teeth exactly where they are!”

Cosmetic Braces

Sometimes, we want the speed of metal braces but would like them not to show while we wear them. Clear braces are a great option. The parts that attach to the tooth are clear glass which makes them less visible. Another way of hiding braces is by placing them on the backs instead of the front of teeth. It’s a great option but comes with more caution when eating.
